Delwood and Windsor park lie about 6 miles northeast of downtown Austin. They are established neighborhoods, with homes built largely in the 1950's and 1960's; predominantly single-family homes on large lots and mature trees. Homes are largely ranch-style with either brick or siding exteriors. Delwood home sizes run between 800 and 3,000 square feet, and home prices run anywhere from $150,000 to $300,000.

These two neighborhoods are young, vibrant neighborhoods popular with young couples, families, and singles. With their mid-century architecture and afforable pricing, homes have become a popular place for very contemporary renovations. Delwood and Windsor Park are bordered on the north by Briarcliff Drive, on the east by the old Mueller airport, and on the south by Airport boulevard. The surrounding retail is currently limited to the Meuller development and retail on 290, but Delwood and Windsor Park are a quick drive to Hyde Park and surrounding areas.
